Chuck Tobin is the President and CEO of AT-RISK International, Inc., a global security, risk management and mitigation firm, formed in 2003. Mr. Tobin possesses 27 years of experience in protecting people, facilities, operations and intellectual property for clients in more than 100 countries.
He serves on the International Protective Security Board (IPSB) and is the chair of International Relations for the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP). Mr. Tobin led as President of ATAP from 2013-2017 in which he oversaw the development of international education, professional standards and organizational resilience programs. He was also chairperson for the Certification Committee, responsible for developing the security industry’s first Certified Threat Manager (CMT) credential which provides proof of knowledge and management skills in violence risk assessment. Mr. Tobin is a certified CMT.
In 2007 and 2008 Mr. Tobin worked as the National Director of Security for the Hillary Clinton for President campaign, securing facilities throughout every state in the nation, as well as managing a variety of direct and indirect threats to the candidate. He has also served as security consultant to a Greek political party and its leader George Papandreou, designing integrated protection programs for the candidate, the family, and the overall campaign.
Mr. Tobin is an internationally sought-after expert in the areas of executive protection program design, threat assessment and management, and comprehensive security management strategy. He is an industry-leading speaker, author and on-camera contributor.
