Location: Northern Virginia
Reports to: Operations Manager


The Investigator will report to an Operations Manager who will provide direct oversight and investigative tutelage.

  • Perform surveillance services as requested
  • Conduct background investigations and research
  • Assist Investigation Specialists in other investigative assignments
  • Surveillance
    • Conduct surveillance assignments on persons, places or things as assigned
    • Prepare surveillance investigative reports in a timely fashion
    • Pretext and scout cases as required by assignment
  • Investigative
    • Conduct background investigations as required
    • Create and submit reports in a timely fashion
    • Perform general investigative research
  • General
    • Submit timesheets and expense reports
    • Complete all assigned administrative duties as requested
    • Attend all required initial and retraining programs as needed
    • Maintain necessary licenses as required
    • Other duties as assigned

  • Demonstrates organizational thinking
  • Capable of independent workload management
  • Curious and persistent

Suitable candidate must have demonstrated previous employment history including 5+ years of investigative experience/minimum of 1,000 hours of surveillance.

General Requirements

Job may require standing, sitting and moving for extended periods of time. Exposure to extreme environmental conditions occurs occasionally. Individual may be required to travel. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
