Security Operations Manager

Location: Florida
Reports to: Executive Director of Operations


Under direction and in accordance with defined policies and procedures, the Security Operations Manager provides oversight, support and response to hostile terminations, internal thefts and regional security concerns in Florida on behalf of a client with headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

  • Support client needs
  • Execute risk assessments and provide solutions to physical security measures
  • Identify security concerns to offer possible resolutions
  • Provide investigation, protection and consulting support
  • Assist with the international screening process for new hires
  • Collect data to aid background investigation findings
  • Support executive protection missions by conducting pre-advance work to facilitate the arrival of key personnel
  • Assist with special events
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Consulting
    • Conduct risk assessments and understand various methodologies based on client’s requests
    • Consult with client on technical, administrative and operational requirements for offices within the region
    • Work collaboratively with other team members on consulting programs, both within and outside the assigned region
  • Investigation
    • Perform investigation assignments as required
    • Ensure all billing and payroll for investigation assignments is completed and delivered to headquarters for processing
  • Protection
    • Organize and oversee all protection operations for specific division in the region
    • Ensure appropriate staffing for regional operations
    • Ensure all billing and payroll for protection details is completed properly
  • General
    • Write detailed, error-free reports to document activities for presentation to the client
    • Interact with clients to ensure their satisfaction and maintain their loyalty
    • Attend required training and retraining programs
    • Maintain necessary licenses
    • Complete all assigned administrative duties on a timely basis
    • Other duties as assigned

  • Illustrates strong written and oral communication skills

  • Presents aptitude to oversee personal protection details and analyze the security needs of protectees

Suitable candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of related experience in security services, military or law enforcement plus 4 years of experience related to position description. Preferred candidate has a CPP, CTM or CRMP certification.

General Requirements

Job may require standing, sitting and moving for extended periods of time. Exposure to extreme environmental conditions occurs occasionally. Individual will be required to travel frequently. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
